    Roadshow

Vision Roadshow is an innovative programme in which we send our committee members and medical student volunteers into local state schools and colleges to inspire motivate and advise students. We cater for students in years 9-13 and our sessions can be completely tailored to the schools requirements.
    Topics we can cover include:

  • University life
  • Careers in medicine
  • Finding work experience
  • Personal statements (including personal statement workshops)
  • Interviews (including technique tutorials and mock interviews using the fishbowl technique)
  • The list is by no means definitive and we try to adapt to your indivudal school's needs as much as possible

    When can we do this?
We do not have any specific time frames, but we try to conduct our events when it is best for the school and students. Examples of times we can hold our talks and workshops are:

  • Assemblies
  • Parents' evenings
  • Careers fairs
  • After school
  • How much does it cost?
Vision Roadshow events are completely free of charge. Our medical students volunteer to help as they believe in the aims of Vision: to encourage wider participation in medicine and to help our local community.
